For more than 45 years ESCO Couplings has been designing and developing its own high-quality couplings. As a result of experience and know-how, we are now seen globally as a coupling specialist and placed among the top 5 coupling manufacturers.

As we want to satisfy the highest quality demands at ESCO Couplings, we execute as many stages of the production process as possible ourselves. To this end, the latest machines are deployed, equipped with the most advanced technologies, fully automated and supported by a production schedule that is completely computer-driven. During the production process, checks are constantly performed in accordance with our quality plan in order to ensure that the product satisfies the specified requirements. All of our products, tests and production processes are 100% traceable in order to assure the customer as well as our own management of the high quality.

Besides new technologies, new techniques are also successfully tested. For example, by using a special surface treatment, the mechanical properties of the ESCOdisc can be considerably enhanced whilst the latest laser techniques are used to give the discs their ideal shape. Various high-tech tooth generating machines produce Escogear couplings that have considerable added value.

For years our ESCOdisc and ESCOgear couplings have been providing a perfect solution to the specific high performance requirements of applications that run at high speeds and transmit large amounts of power. And these years of experience in designing special couplings have provided ESCO Couplings with the capability to accept the challenge of designing couplings for trains. These patented ESCOgear Traction couplings connect the engine to the gearbox and rotate at a speed of 6,000 revolutions/minute for a continuously variable angular misalignment of -7 to +7 degrees.
